My
Through various practices I started to open myself up to new liberatory pathways by connecting deeply to African/Caribbean Indigenous ways of knowing and being. My desire to share this kind of multifaceted experience with the Black community was ignited. As an artist-scholar I am committed to exploring Black feminist thought, Indigenous African thought, and ethics of care as a way to re-envision Black life.
Over the last ten years, I have undergone a journey that revealed a desire to build liberatory pathways that support new world building.
