My
Through various practices I started to open myself up to new liberatory pathways by connecting deeply to Afro-Caribbean Indigenous ways of knowing and being. My desire to share this kind of multifaceted experience with other women was ignited. As an academic I am committed to exploring Black feminist thought, precolonial African thought, and ethics of care as a way to re-envision Black life.
Over the last ten years, I have undergone a journey that revealed a desire to bear expression with confidence, self-acceptance and radical self-love.
